LVL-UP! at Mini Maker Faire, 2018

LVL-UP! recreates videogame level-grinding in physical space and engages an all-ages public audience. During a LVL-UP! session, participants and I construct and decorate paper craft gem tokens. For the SB Mini Maker Faire, I also had an interactive video that played a level-up video when you stepped on a sensor underneath the floor quilt! We earned +1 spirit in our creative labor

The Charming Object (Object Oriented Fortune Telling) , 2017.  Screenprint on fabric, denim, and muslin.  Machine-quilting and reverse applique.  36 in. x 36 in. For this series, I used improv. quilting techniques (having no pre-plan as to the composition, but working in the moment).  I then used Lenormand Cartomancy (a card-based fortune telling game) to reveal each object's "hidden nature."  OOFortune Telling sessions were documented as a YouTube video series .
